Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan generates low-cost creature tokens during the opening turns using resilient permanents such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, you deploy Jace and immediately activate his -3 loyalty ability to exile a token, flipping into an imposing creature or planeswalker from the library. Premier hits like Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, and The Ur-Sphinx create insurmountable board advantages and rapid combat clocks. Library manipulation spells like Brainstorm and Brainsurge tuck naturally drawn high-cost threats back into the deck to keep the polymorph engine active. Sweepers such as Sunfall and White Sun's Twilight clear opposing boards while generating fresh tokens to fuel subsequent transformations.
