Doom Prevails by punkermarth

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain-tribal deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, built on a discard-and-connive value engine that resolves into tribal beatdown. Doom punishes every discarded land with a 2-life drain on each opponent and gives one Villain a free connive each combat, making the deck's looting both card selection and reach. The 99 is built around discard outlets (Currency Converter, Cool but Rude, Shadow of the Goblin, M.O.D.O.K.), discard payoffs that convert the graveyard into Treasures, tokens, and replayable spells (Green Goblin, Nemesis, Containment Construct, Moonstone, Harsh Mistress, the mayhem casters), and lord effects that turn the horde into evasive, oversized threats (Doctor Octopus, Master Planner, The Masters of Evil, The Squadron Sinister). There are no infinite combos; instead the deck generates inevitability through combat plus repeated drain triggers, backed by mass recursion like Behold the Sinister Six! and The Soul Stone.
