Deck overview

This Naya deck utilizes Toph, the First Metalbender to turn nontoken artifacts into lands and animate them via the earthbend mechanic. The primary game plan deploys early modular artifact creatures and counter amplifiers, casts Toph on Turn 4, and scales aggressive land creatures with +1/+1 counters. By Turn 5, high-impact finishers like Toph, Greatest Earthbender, Bumi, Unleashed, or Akroma's Will create overwhelming combat pressure. Earthbent lands feature built-in recursion upon death or exile, returning to the battlefield tapped, which gives the deck strong natural board-wipe resilience. Supported by a robust suite of free and low-cost protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Heroic Intervention, the deck reliably preserves its board state while eliminating opponents in combat by Turn 7.
