Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue token swarm strategy commanded by Alandra, Sky Dreamer. It converts every second card drawn each turn into a 2/2 flying Drake, steadily building an evasive aerial army. By combining cheap cantrips, looters, and multi-draw spells like Brainsurge and Teferi's Ageless Insight, the engine reliably triggers Alandra on both your turn and opponents' turns. The end-game plan pivots around Alandra's second ability: drawing five cards in a single turn provides an enormous +X/+X anthem across the entire Drake flight based on hand size. While the deck boasts immense card draw velocity and resilient secondary token makers like Talrand, Sky Summoner and Homunculus Horde, it runs minimal fast mana and direct tutoring. It relies instead on overwhelming card advantage, defensive countermagic, and combat damage to close out the game over multiple combat phases.
