Polycule: Athreos and 27 Apostles by user6848170

Format: Commander

Commander: Athreos, God of Passage

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Shadowborn Apostle combo build that uses Thrumming Stone to turn a single Apostle into a large chain of Clerics. Athreos, God of Passage is the recursion hub: whenever a Cleric dies, opponents either pay 3 life or let it return, so the deck can keep sacrificing the same six Clerics to find demons. Razaketh or Rune-Scarred Demon turns those bodies into exact tutors for drain effects. The usual kill is a mass-sacrifice turn where Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Zulaport Cutthroat, Elas il-Kor, Bastion of Remembrance, and Vindictive Vampire drain the table. No hidden commander exists; Shadowborn Apostle is the hidden engine, with a midrange Athreos attrition plan as the secondary path.
