Deck overview

This deck leverages Olag and Miau, New Friends to unite Cat and Zombie tribal strategies into a compounding engine of +1/+1 counters and passive life drain. By casting an early curve of mixed tribal threats and token generators such as Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Leonin Warleader, and Diregraf Colossus, each entering creature buffs the other tribe. Tapping these creatures through combat or utility abilities converts board presence into unavoidable end-step drain against all opponents simultaneously. The deck supports this aggressive posture with solid Abzan ramp, steady card draw from combat and death triggers, and defensive spells like Heroic Intervention to survive sweepers. If the commander is removed, the deck easily pivots to direct tribal beatdown using anthems like Death Baron, Arahbo, the First Fang, and Mirror Entity.
