Deck overview

This Mono-Black deck blends aristocrats attrition, reanimator sequencing, and big-mana devotion strategies under Avacyn, Angel of Horror. The deck focuses on accelerating its mana with explosive rituals, land multipliers like Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast, and low-cost sacrifice enablers. During the early turns, it sets up its graveyard with Vile Entomber and self-mill while drawing cards through Skullclamp, Braids, Arisen Nightmare, and Grim Haruspex. In the mid-game, it establishes control over opposing boards using asymmetric sacrifice engines like Grave Pact and Tergrid, God of Fright. Once sufficient mana and graveyard depth are assembled by Turn 6, the deck pivots into decisive table-wide finishes using massive Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate casts, or mass reanimation spells like Living Death and Rise of the Dark Realms to repeatedly drain all three opponents with Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Kokusho, the Evening Star.
