Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages G'raha Tia, Scion Reborn to convert every noncreature spell into formidable Hero creature tokens with +1/+1 counters equal to the spell's mana value. The deck takes full advantage of the unique deckbuilding rule on Cid, Timeless Artificer, packing seven copies that provide massive scaling anthems to all Heroes and Artifact creatures whether Cid is on the battlefield or in the graveyard. A supplementary suite of Job Select equipment creates immediate Hero bodies that automatically equip, ensuring board presence even without the commander. Proliferate engines like Flux Channeler, Inexorable Tide, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician rapidly expand both +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters across the table.
