cEDH Kefka by OkayNate

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a Grixis turbo-combo shell built around Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin as a value engine rather than a required combo piece. The front side of Kefka generates card advantage through discard/draw triggers, while the back side Kefka, Ruler of Ruin turns opponent life loss during your turn into card draw - pairing naturally with ping effects like Vivi Ornitier, Orcish Bowmasters, and Harmonic Prodigy. The deck's primary win conditions are the classic Thassa's Oracle lines with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, backed by the Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond + Brain Freeze loop. With an average mana value below 2.0 and a dense suite of fast mana and one-mana tutors, the deck is built to win from a low land count on turns 3-4 while free counterspells protect the kill.
