Deck overview

Hashaton, Scarab's Fist is an Esper discard-recursion deck that turns looting effects into 4/4 Zombie copies of expensive creatures. The primary plan is to discard threats like Archon of Cruelty, Valgavoth, and Jin-Gitaxias, pay {2}{U}, then reanimate the original so one card becomes two threats. Peregrine Drake token untaps lands, allowing multiple copies in a single turn. Secondary paths are a Zombie-tribal package (Temmet, Gleaming Overseer, The Scarab God) and mass recursion with Living Death. The commander acts as a catalyst rather than a strict combo piece; the deck can still win through reanimation and zombies if he is kept off the table. The Scarab God is effectively a hidden second copy engine. There is no true infinite line; the Drake/Tortured Existence engine produces extra mana and recursion but not a loop.
