New Untitled Deck by user8247997

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls turns any opponent life loss into cards and +1/+1 counters, so this Rakdos deck is built around a dense suite of group-slug permanents: Underworld Dreams, Sulfuric Vortex, Manabarbs, and Zo-Zu punish drawing, tapping lands, and playing lands. Each trigger puts counters on Valgavoth and refuels the hand, then the deck converts that advantage into more pings and eventually a Peer into the Abyss kill with Underworld Dreams or Razorkin Needlehead. It also tries to grow Valgavoth into a large flyer and finish with Unleash Fury or Thundering Raiju. No card in the 99 functions as a hidden commander; the plan is openly oriented around the face commander's trigger.
