Commander: Tormod, the Desecrator and Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black Partner deck pairs Tormod, the Desecrator with Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools to grind value and drain the table. Tormod creates tapped 2/2 Zombies whenever cards leave your graveyard, while Tevesh makes Thrulls and draws cards by sacrificing creatures or planeswalkers, with extra value when you sacrifice a commander. The primary plan is aristocrats attrition into life-loss doublers. Secondary paths are discard and Grave Pact control, and a big Peer into the Abyss finish. The hidden commander is the life-drain package - Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Wound Reflection, Exquisite Blood, Sanguine Bond and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose - which turns any life loss or gain into a table kill.
