Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger and Theft strategy helmed by Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge. The game plan revolves around accelerating into Jeleva, granting her haste or protecting her through a turn cycle, and attacking to cast expensive, game-warping instants and sorceries from exile for free. By combining self-mill, opponent mill, and mass theft, the deck aims to turn opposing libraries into resources. Heavy payoffs such as Breach the Multiverse, Rise of the Dark Realms, and Fevered Suspicion provide massive swings in board presence. Supporting engines like Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Kess, Dissident Mage ensure steady velocity if Jeleva is removed, while cards like Cyclonic Rift and Singularity Rupture keep opposing boards under control. The deck closes games primarily by reanimating huge boards of creatures from multiple graveyards and overwhelming opponents across two combat steps.
