This is an Abzan life-gain/life-loss drain deck helmed by Betor, Ancestor's Voice, who converts life gained into +1/+1 counters and life lost into free end-step reanimation. The core plan weaponizes life as a resource: pay life for mana and cards through K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, Defiler of Flesh, Dark Tutelage, and Greed, then convert every point of life gained back into opponent life loss via Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and Enduring Tenacity. Finishers are big X-spells (Exsanguinate, Debt to the Deathless) and Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
