goblins assemble

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin/Orc/Army midrange deck helmed by The Great Goblin. The plan is to amass a growing Goblin Army, stack +1/+1 counters, and convert every counter event into 2 damage via the commander while death triggers impulse-draw the top of the library. Supporting packages include treasure engines, several Smaug Dragon finishers, and a light equipment suite. There are no infinite combos; wins come from go-wide combat, commander pings, and occasional extra-combat turns off Desert Were-Worm. The Great Goblin is the central value engine-cheap at three mana, repeatedly useful, and the deck's primary source of reach and card flow-but the amass and Dragon cores still function if it is answered.
