Deck overview

This deck leverages The Astonishing Ant-Man to turn abundant Simic card draw into +1/+1 counters, which it then converts into a wide swarm of 1/1 Insect creature tokens. The early game focuses on deploying efficient ramp and card advantage engines such as Rhystic Study, Skullclamp, and Curiosity Crafter. Once Ant-Man has accumulated several counters, activating his ability populates the board with Insects that quickly fuel mana engines like Cryptolith Rite and Gaea's Cradle. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by resolving asymmetric mass buffs, notably Beastmaster Ascension, Coat of Arms, and Banner of Kinship, or by clearing opposing blockers with Raise the Palisade. A robust suite of low-cost countermagic and protection spells defends the engine against sweepers and removal, ensuring the token army survives to overwhelm opponents over consecutive combat steps.
