[Proxy] The Power of Morgoth (B2 v2.0) by user7730846

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord is the deck's six-mana card-advantage engine: he discounts the need for a large hand by letting ring temptations turn your entire hand into a fresh four cards. The primary plan is to amass one very large Army, protect it, and end through Assault on Osgiliath or haste-steal effects. Secondary paths include Fiery Inscription pinging, recursive Living Death recovery, and a late Cabal Coffers / Deserted Temple / Rings of Brighthearth mana loop. Saruman, the White Hand acts as the backup amass engine, but there is no hidden commander. The list is deliberately centered on Sauron; without him, the deck still has amass payoffs but loses its biggest draw source.
