New Untitled Deck by Dragonborn

Format: Commander

Commander: Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

A Grixis "superfriends" deck led by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager, built almost entirely around the transformed back face, Nicol Bolas, the Arisen. The front side is a relevant 4/4 flyer whose ETB discard is incidental; the real plan is to develop mana, resolve planeswalkers, and use a dense proliferate package - Inexorable Tide, Flux Channeler, Ichormoon Gauntlet, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Contagion Engine - to push loyalty totals into ultimate range. The primary finish is Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God's -8, ideally after Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools steals all commanders with his -10. Secondary paths include All Will Be One burn, Vraska, Betrayal's Sting poison, Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh's -12, and extra-turn chains from Ral Zarek, Teferi, Master of Time, and Ichormoon Gauntlet. The commander's +2 draw engine and -12 library-exile ultimate give the deck a long-game inevitability.
