Deck overview

This Mardu deck combines Knight tribal aggression with the monarch mechanic. Led by Queen Marchesa, the deck curves out low-cost Knights in the early turns, establishing a solid board presence before dropping Marchesa on Turn 4 to seize the crown and start drawing extra cards. The mid-game focuses on expanding token armies using cards like Virtue of Loyalty, Court of Grace, and Forth Eorlingas!. Combat damage is amplified by powerful tribal payoffs such as Skyhunter Strike Force, Knight Exemplar, and The Circle of Loyalty. Additional life drain from Knights' Charge, Smitten Swordmaster // Curry Favor, and Court of Embereth helps close out games even through gummed-up boards. The deck supports its creature plan with versatile Mardu removal to clear blockers and answer opposing threats, grinding out an inevitable combat victory by Turn 8.
