Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck is commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen and aims to overpower opponents with high-impact flying creatures and direct burn triggers. The deck uses an array of early mana rocks and cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Herald's Horn to ramp into Lathliss by Turn 5. Once Lathliss is established, every subsequent nontoken Dragon creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token, quickly overwhelming the board. Cards such as Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus translate newly deployed dragons into immediate direct damage and double-strike combat pressure. While the deck boasts heavy combat lethality and resilient backup threats like Utvara Hellkite, it operates almost entirely at sorcery speed, lacks stack interaction, and is susceptible to well-timed board wipes.
