Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Ashling to loot early on her front face, then transforms into Ashling, Rimebound to ramp into massive spells. You leverage mana discounts and cost reduction to cast expensive instants and sorceries ahead of curve. High-impact engines like Ovika, Enigma Goliath, Shark Typhoon, and Niv-Mizzet, Parun quickly turn high-mana spells into overwhelming board presences or massive noncombat damage. The deck finishes games by generating swarms of flying tokens, unleashing huge copy spells like a kicked Rite of Replication, or burning down opponents through continuous spellslinger triggers.
