Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity combo-burn build designed to eliminate the entire table in a single turn using Heartless Hidetsugu. The primary game plan accelerates into Hidetsugu using an extensive suite of red rituals and fast mana rocks. Once deployed, the deck pairs Hidetsugu with an immediate haste enabler and a damage multiplier such as Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Fiendish Duo, or Insult // Injury. Tapping Hidetsugu deals 40 damage to every player at 40 life, achieving a simultaneous same-turn knockout. When using global damage doublers like Dictate of the Twin Gods, lifelink equipment such as Basilisk Collar or Shadowspear ensures the pilot survives the blast. The deck defends its win turn using highly efficient redirection spells like Bolt Bend and Redirect Lightning. Its primary vulnerabilities include heavy commander reliance and sensitivity to instant-speed spot removal targeting Hidetsugu before activation.
