Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is a Boros Dwarf-tribal midrange deck built around converting every Dwarf ETB into a Treasure token, then using those artifact tokens as both ramp and a global pump. The core plan is to develop a low-curve Dwarf engine - Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Fili and Kili, Joyous, Koll, the Forgemaster - cast Thorin on curve, and chain Dwarf enters into a dense board of tokens and Equipment. Magda, Brazen Outlaw acts as a hidden commander: tapped Dwarves create Treasures, and five Treasures tutor any artifact or Dragon, while Sram, Senior Edificer and Kili the Resourceful keep the hand full. The deck wins through combat rather than combos: Dain of Ancient Halls's attack trigger, Balin, Loremaster's discard-burn, a wide pumped attack from Reckless Crew or An Unexpected Party // At the Door, or a suited-up double-striking Thorin via Thorin, Company's Leader and Leyline Axe. It has a strong mid/late game but no fast infinite kill.
