Samurai Sword & Spell (Cyberpunk Inspo) by KenDG

Format: Commander

Commander: Tetsuo, Imperial Champion

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis Equipment Voltron deck is helmed by Tetsuo, Imperial Champion, whose attack trigger converts a single equipped swing into either a burn spell equal to the greatest Equipment mana value or a free instant/sorcery. The core loop is to suit Tetsuo with high-MV Equipment like Argentum Armor, Embercleave, or Excalibur, Sword of Eden, then chain extra combat steps via Godo, Bandit Warlord, Genji Glove, Savage Beating, Seize the Day, and Akki Battle Squad, plus the extra turn from Time Warp, multiplying Tetsuo's ping and free-cast triggers into a table kill. A secondary spell-slinger line - Tor Wauki the Younger, Fire Lord Azula, Double Vision, and Twinferno - converts the free-cast engine into direct damage. The deck is explosive and heavily artifact-concentrated, with a dense Equipment suite and a modest protection package, but it leans almost entirely on its commander to function.
