Deck overview

This Gruul Werewolf deck aims to flood the battlefield with Wolves and Werewolves, then turn them sideways with trample and pump effects. Tovolar, Dire Overlord is the primary engine: his combat damage trigger draws cards, and his upkeep trigger flips the game to night, transforming Human Werewolves into larger nightbound forms. The deck also uses Arlinn Kord and Arlinn, the Pack's Hope as backup planeswalker engines that create Wolf tokens and grant haste or trample. The secondary path is a token swarm fueled by Hollowhenge Overlord, Cult of the Waxing Moon, and Howl of the Night Pack, finished with Unnatural Growth or Kessig Wolf Run. The hidden commander is Arlinn, the Pack's Hope, which provides flash, extra counters, and a mana-generating night side.
