Deck overview

This mono-white deck focuses on winning through poison counters rather than traditional 40-life combat damage. Led by Skrelv, Defector Mite, the strategy rapidly deploys Phyrexian Mite tokens that possess toxic 1. Skrelv sits in the command zone as an efficient one-drop, providing critical targeted protection and evasion to guarantee that toxic attackers bypass blockers. The deck amplifies this game plan using token multipliers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Anointed Procession, and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, turning modest token creation into overwhelming swarms. Once poison counters are distributed to opponents, proliferate cards such as Contagion Clasp, Metastatic Evangel, and Patrolling Peacemaker accelerate the poison clock toward the lethal threshold of 10. While vulnerable to heavy board sweepers and limited by a very lean 29-land mana base, the deck maintains high combat pressure and resilient single-target protection.
