k'reaky ah deck by user3109785

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black K'rrik deck wins by grinding incremental drain, not fast combo. K'rrik acts as a ritual, letting you pay life for black mana to flood the board early with drain pieces like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance and Syr Konrad. You sacrifice fodder from Ophiomancer, Bitterbloom Bearer, Gravecrawler and Bloodghast to triggers that drain each opponent for 1-2 per death. Secondary paths are a large Gray Merchant of Asphodel for devotion, Bolas's Citadel playing the top of the library with life, and Tergrid stealing sacrificed permanents. Bolas's Citadel is the hidden commander, providing the long-game engine when K'rrik is unavailable.
