Deck overview

This Orzhov deck revolves around Mister Negative, using his Darkforce Inversion ability to exchange life totals with opponents and draw massive bursts of cards. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost lifelink creatures and utility permanents like Child of Night, Common Crook, and Web-Shooters to manage life totals and contest early attackers. In the mid-to-late game, the deck transitions into casting large threats like Zenos yae Galvus // Shinryu, Transcendent Rival and Shroudstomper. Once Mister Negative hits the battlefield, his trigger either severely diminishes an opponent's high life buffer or converts a life deficit into an overwhelming hand of fresh spells. Because the list lacks infinite combos and aggressive mana acceleration, victory is achieved through sustained combat damage over several turn cycles, supported by spot removal and defensive life buffers.
