Format: Commander

Commander: Kalakscion, Hunger Tyrant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black deck is a graveyard reanimator that sacrifices creatures for cards, fills the yard with Entomb and Buried Alive, and cheats Eldrazi into play with Reanimate, Animate Dead, Victimize and Living Death. Kalakscion, Hunger Tyrant is a 7/2 attacker with no engine text and is not central; the hidden commanders are Razaketh, the Foulblooded for tutoring and Syr Konrad, the Grim for drain. The main win is combat with Ulamog, Kozilek and Emrakul backed by annihilator and exile triggers. Secondary wins are Syr Konrad loops and Sickening Dreams with a large hand, plus grind value from Altar of the Wretched and Doom Weaver.
