Deck overview

This is a Simic Elf-landfall token deck helmed by Thranduil the Strategist, and its plan is to convert every land drop into a 1/1 Elf token, then overrun the table with a critical mass of Elves. Thranduil is both a token engine and a mana engine: his landfall makes an Elf, and his static ability lets every other Elf tap for green or blue. The 99 multiplies land drops with Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Oracle of Mul Daya, Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, and Exploration, while Tatyova, Benthic Druid and Kindred Discovery turn those drops into cards. There are no infinite combos; the primary kill is Craterhoof Behemoth cheated in via Natural Order or Finale of Devastation, with Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Allosaurus Shepherd as backup pump effects. The second Thranduil, Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally, acts as hidden-commander redundancy for the landfall-token engine.
