Thanos (Kenrith) by SloppyJalop

Format: Commander

Commander: Kenrith, the Returned King

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a five-color Kenrith, the Returned King deck built around the Hero/Villain "Power-up" theme and activated-ability synergies. Kenrith serves as the ultimate mana sink: he gives the team trample and haste, spreads +1/+1 counters, gains life, draws cards, and - most importantly - reanimates creatures from any graveyard. The deck's mid-game plan is to discount and multiply activated abilities through Training Grounds, Zirda, the Dawnwaker, Hulk, Gamma Goliath, Wonder Man, Hollywood Hero, and Rings of Brighthearth, then close with overwhelming combat: an 16/16 Galactus token from The Coming of Galactus, a hasty mass-steal swing off Mutinous Massacre, or the extra combat from a flipped The Incredible Hulk. A counters theme - She-Hulk, Attorney-at-Law and Captain Marvel, Apex Avenger - and a reanimation package give it strong value inevitability, with Mechanized Production as a slow alternate win condition.
