Deck overview

This mono-black artifact deck is commanded by Imotekh the Stormlord. It focuses on turning graveyard recursion into an overwhelming army of 2/2 Necron Warriors and lethal aristocrat drain triggers. The early game focuses on developing mana rocks, self-mill engines, and recurring artifact creatures like Myr Retriever and Scrap Trawler. Once Imotekh enters on Turn 4, every instance of an artifact leaving the graveyard produces two 2/2 artifact tokens. These tokens fuel sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Krark-Clan Ironworks. The deck closes games around Turn 6 by executing an infinite loop with Nim Deathmantle, generating unlimited mana, infinite tokens, and triggering payoffs such as Marionette Apprentice, Psychomancer, Pactdoll Terror, and Mirkwood Bats to drain the entire table instantly.
