Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos goad/forced-combat deck helmed by Kardur, Doomscourge. The primary game plan is to force opponents to attack each other, then drain the table when creatures die. The deck runs a dense suite of goad enablers (Disrupt Decorum, Agitator Ant, Bloodthirsty Blade, Geode Rager, Shiny Impetus, Spectacular Showdown, Vengeful Ancestor) and punishment effects that trigger on attacks or deaths (Blood Reckoning, Revenge of Ravens, Sangromancer). The win condition is incremental life loss through Kardur's drain trigger, supplemented by direct damage from Kaervek the Merciless, Spiteful Visions, and Dictate of the Twin Gods. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins through attrition and combat damage. The commander's ETB is a powerful force-attack effect, but the deck can function without him thanks to the many redundant goad pieces.
