Deck overview

This is a Jund "-1/-1 counters matter" deck helmed by The Reaper, King No More. The plan is to blanket the board in -1/-1 counters and convert them into removal, token generation, card draw, and life drain, then steal the best creatures that die. The commander's ETB spreads two counters and his death trigger reanimates opponents' creatures, but the real engine lives in the 99: Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Flourishing Defenses turn every counter into tokens, while Blowfly Infestation creates infinite loops. All Will Be One converts counter placement into direct damage, and Maha, Its Feathers Night plus Kulrath Knight lock down opposing boards. The deck wins through token swarm combat, infinite counter loops, or grinding opponents out with Obelisk Spider drain and The Scorpion God card advantage. It is a resilient midrange value deck whose main fragility is a very thin tutor base.
