New Untitled Deck by Shinnypants

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Smaug the Impenetrable is a seven-mana haste beater and a Treasure engine in one. The deck pings it with Pestilence, Pyrohemia, Chain Lightning, Requiem Monolith, and similar effects; each point of noncombat damage becomes a Treasure, which then fuels X-spells, cascade from Rain of Riches, and draw from Mastermind Plum or Smaug, Wicked Worm. Combat with Goldspan Dragon, Terror of the Peaks, and Twinflame Tyrant is a secondary route, and Revel in Riches, Hellkite Tyrant, and Knuckles the Echidna provide artifact-count wins. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is built squarely around Smaug's damage trigger, with Smaug, Wicked Worm as the closest hidden commander for the Treasure-cast draw engine.
