Sea Monsters by HolyFather

Format: Commander

Commander: Kenessos, Priest of Thassa

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kenessos, Priest of Thassa leads a Simic sea-monster tribal deck that cheats Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses and Serpents into play. Kenessos adds one to every scry and for three mana lets you look at the top card and put a sea monster directly onto the battlefield. The deck stacks the top with Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, Sylvan Library, Brainstorm and tutors, then uses Kenessos to bypass six to nine mana costs. The secondary plan is hard-casting threats with ramp from Arixmethes, Selvala, Gaea's Cradle and Nykthos. Wins come from combat with huge unblockable bodies, Koma and Spawning Kraken tokens, and mass bounce from Breaching Leviathan, Scourge of Fleets and Cyclonic Rift that clears blockers for lethal alpha strikes.
