Deck overview

This Boros deck is commanded by Nelly Borca, Impulsive Accuser, focusing on forced combat, goad mechanics, political manipulation, and aikido damage redirection. The strategy accelerates out Nelly on Turn 3 or 4 to suspect and goad opposing threats, drawing extra cards whenever opponents deal combat damage to each other. Pillowfort pieces such as Ghostly Prison and Windborn Muse ensure opposing attacks flow away from you. In the mid-to-late game, the deck accelerates table lethality using mass goad spells like Taunt from the Rampart and Disrupt Decorum alongside damage multipliers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Fiendish Duo. When opponents reduce each other to critical life totals, you close the match using Insurrection, Brash Taunter, Deflecting Palm, or unblockable double-strike swings. Robust defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver, Deflecting Swat, and Flare of Fortitude protect your board from disruption.
