Deck overview

This Orzhov Angel/Phyrexian tribal deck, helmed by Selenia, the Cursed Heart, aims to out-value opponents through life-gain amplification and a dense board-wipe and protection suite. The commander doubles life gain, fueling triggers on Archangel of Thune, Resplendent Angel, Exemplar of Light, and The Book of Exalted Deeds. The deck deploys a high-curve army of evasive angels and Phyrexian praetors, controlling the board with seven+ board wipes and a robust removal package. Primary win conditions are combat damage from a resilient angel board and the soft-lock from The Book of Exalted Deeds on an angel (making the game essentially unwinnable for opponents). The deck is slow, durdly, and lacks fast mana outside Mana Crypt and Sol Ring, relying on incremental advantage and resource denial to grind out games.
