Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Group Hug and Pillowfort strategy commanded by Gluntch, the Bestower. It accelerates the table's development through symmetrical mana and draw engines like Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, Rites of Flourishing, and Magus of the Vineyard. While keeping opponents well-resourced, it defends itself against retribution using pillowfort effects like Ghostly Prison, Nils, Discipline Enforcer, Orzhov Advokist, and repeatable fog effects such as Sunstone and Spore Frog. The deck leverages its massive card velocity and Gluntch's Treasure production to bypass conventional card parity, digging rapidly into decisive win conditions. Its primary path to victory is Approach of the Second Sun, supported by backup threats like Psychosis Crawler, Scrawling Crawler, and Craterhoof Behemoth. However, accelerating opponents can backfire against decks capable of converting extra resources into fast, non-combat combos.
