Beach, Please! by The_Only_Sean

Format: Commander

Commander: Plagon, Lord of the Beach

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Plagon, Lord of the Beach heads a toughness-matters value deck: it floods the board with cheap 0-power creatures, uses Plagon's enters trigger to draw a large hand, then converts toughness to combat damage with High Alert, Rasaad yn Bashir, and Plagon's own pump ability. A strong blink package (Soulherder, Thassa, Teleportation Circle, Abdel Adrian) creates repeatable ETB value and Soldier tokens, while a dense removal/counterspell suite protects the plan. Rasaad is effectively a hidden toughness commander in the 99, though the deck has no initiative source, so his doubling rider is off. Without a combo finisher, the deck wins by midrange toughness beatdown.
