Deck overview

Kardur, Doomscourge controls the tempo of the game by forcing opponents into combat with one another while protecting your life total and draining life as creatures die. The deck uses death-trigger reanimation spells and blink effects to repeatedly trigger Kardur's enter-the-battlefield ability, whittling down enemy life totals through forced attacks and aristocrat drains. Once opponents are softened and resources are depleted, the deck finishes the game using compact infinite combos like Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame, or Gravecrawler sacrifice loops powered by Warren Soultrader and Blood Artist. Solid black card draw and efficient tutors ensure reliable assembly of these win conditions.
