Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Superfriends control deck commanded by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager. The primary strategy focuses on controlling the board during the early turns with efficient countermagic, spot removal, and creature sweepers. Once the battlefield is stable, the deck deploys high-impact planeswalkers, especially Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God, Teferi, Master of Time, and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting. It accelerates their loyalty using proliferate permanents such as Flux Channeler, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Ichormoon Gauntlet, or doubles counters instantly with Deepglow Skate. The deck locks down opposing resources using asymmetric tax pieces like Narset, Parter of Veils and Ashiok, Dream Render while grinding down opposing hands with repeated Bolas discard and exile triggers. Victory is achieved by executing decisive planeswalker ultimates, such as Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God eliminating players without legendary permanents or Bolas, the Arisen stripping libraries. Robust interaction and high redundancy allow the deck to pivot smoothly between defense and overwhelming board dominance.
