Keep Up by Urchin

Format: Commander

Commander: Obeka, Splitter of Seconds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Obeka, Splitter of Seconds is a Grixis upkeep-trigger value deck that turns a single unblockable combat hit into several extra upkeeps. The primary plan is to suit up Obeka with unblockable equipment and auras, hit a player, and then chain explosive upkeep triggers from Descent into Avernus, Courts, suspend cards, and token generators. The secondary path uses Jhoira of the Ghitu, Taigam, and As Foretold with suspend synergies to access huge spells without normal mana costs. The hidden commander is The Ninth Doctor, providing an additional upkeep step whenever he untaps. The deck wins through repeated upkeep damage, treasure generation, and growing creature tokens while using counterspells, bounce, and targeted removal to protect the engine.
