Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jund mid-range synergy list commanded by Ognis, the Dragon's Lash. The game plan hinges on chaining low-to-mid mana value creatures with haste to attack immediately and generate a rapid stockpile of tapped Treasure tokens. These artifacts accelerate mana development and trigger powerful aristocrat drain and damage engines such as Mayhem Devil, Marionette Apprentice, and Nadier's Nightblade. Card velocity is fueled by combat connections from Toski, Bearer of Secrets, Samut, Vizier of Naktamun, and Professional Face-Breaker. While the deck features explosive mana generation and alternative win conditions like Revel in Riches, its reliance on combat damage and vulnerable creature permanents leaves it susceptible to well-timed board sweepers and instant-speed targeted removal. It functions best as an aggressive tempo deck that converts fast attack triggers into lethal direct burn.
