Deck overview

This Boros aggro deck centers on Thorin, King of Durin's Folk to turn an army of low-cost Dwarves and artifact tokens into an explosive combat force. Early turns establish a board of synergistic Dwarf creatures and utility artifacts, setting up Thorin's deployment on Turn 4. Upon entering, Thorin generates Treasure tokens whenever Dwarves enter and grants every other Dwarf +1/+0 for each artifact token under your control. This converts incidental Treasures from cards like Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Diamond Pick-Axe into massive power boosts across the entire board. The deck hits critical onset on Turn 5, swinging for lethal damage against individual players and threatening full table elimination by Turn 7. While the deck boasts format-grade protection spells like Clever Concealment and Boros Charm to shield against sweepers, it remains vulnerable to prolonged board interaction and artifact wipes that dismantle its Treasure hoard.
