Deck overview

This Grixis artifact deck uses Mishra, Artificer Prodigy to make artifact spells enter the battlefield even when Nether Void or Blood Funnel counters them. The primary plan is a stax-storm hybrid: slow the table with Nether Void, Blood Funnel, and Possibility Storm, then chain cheap artifacts through Mystic Forge, Urza, Lord High Artificer, and cost reducers. The usual table kill is Aetherflux Reservoir after about 17 casts in one turn, or Reckless Fireweaver converting a large artifact storm into damage. Secondary lines cheat Blightsteel Colossus with Master Transmuter or Goblin Welder, and assemble a KCI/Myr Retriever/Sculpting Steel loop. The commander is essential to the fastest stax line, but the artifact mana and recursion shell can still win without him. There is no hidden commander; Daretti and Tezzeret act as support planeswalkers.
