Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Grixis Spellslinger Burn and Attrition strategy led by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap Wizard pingers and cost reducers to turn every noncreature spell into direct damage and mana velocity. Commander Kefka acts as a disruptive mid-game engine, forcing symmetrical discards on entry and attack while generating massive bursts of card advantage. The deck accumulates resources through cantrips and magecraft engines like Archmage Emeritus and Storm-Kiln Artist, building toward explosive mid-game turns. Victory is achieved by scaling burn damage with Veyran, Voice of Duality, Harmonic Prodigy, and Trance Kuja, chaining spells off Bolas's Citadel, or executing an infinite draw-and-damage loop with Curiosity on Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Strong graveyard recursion ensures fast recovery after board wipes.
