Format: Commander

Commander: The Second Doctor and Vislor Turlough

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is an Esper group-hug/pillowfort attrition build. The Second Doctor is the primary engine: his end-step trigger makes opponents draw, and anyone who accepts cannot attack you, turning card draw into defense. Vislor Turlough is the black enabler; he can be given away to make an opponent draw and lose life, or kept when Venser's Journal offsets his life loss. The main path is repeatable group draw (Temple Bell, Jace, Mikokoro, Kwain, Scrawling Crawler) plus opponent-draw punishment (Sheoldred, Orcish Bowmasters, Fate Unraveler). Secondary paths are hand-size burn (Iron Maiden, Viseling, Price of Knowledge) and a Disturb kill from Faithbound Judge // Sinner's Judgment. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around the Doctor.
