Deck overview

This is a looting-based Esper reanimator built around Hashaton, Scarab's Fist, converting discarded creatures into cheap 4/4 Zombie copies. The deck layers an unusually dense suite of discard outlets - Putrid Imp, Tireless Tribe, Psychic Frog, Ledger Shredder, Rona, Herald of Invasion, Likeness Looter, Currency Converter - with format-defining reanimation targets such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Consecrated Sphinx, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Sheoldred, Whispering One. Backups include Reanimate, Necromancy, Phyrexian Reclamation, and Rise of the Dark Realms, giving the graveyard a second-hand quality. The primary path is an overwhelming flyer army, accelerated by two infinite-mana engine lines (Palinchron + Tortured Existence; Hullbreaker Horror + mana rocks), a Notion Thief + Windfall hand-hose, and The Scarab God acting as a hidden second commander with its upkeep drain and 4/4 Zombie copying.
