Deck overview

The deck uses Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm to copy large Dragons and multiply their enters-the-battlefield triggers. Its strongest ordinary setup is Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Dragon Tempest, and a high-impact Dragon such as Atarka, World Render, Scourge of Valkas, or Terror of the Peaks. Ramp from Sol Ring, land-search spells, Gruul Signet, Talisman of Impulse, and Frontier Siege supports the expensive curve. The main weakness is access: the commander is guaranteed, but Dragon Tempest is not reliably tutored. The deck can create a threatening board around turn 8, but it does not show a dependable all-opponent kill. Its interaction is light and mostly creature-focused, so it must win through board development before opposing engines become established. Card advantage improves after Dragons enter through Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, Dragon's Hoard, and Dragonborn Champion, but those engines are not always present at first assembly.
